Together with a fast Ethernet real time bus they guarantee high-precision coupling of several axes. It runs with a controller cycle of 100 kHz, resulting in maximum path accuracy of the drives. In order to enable controlling in the 100 kHz range, the corresponding signals such as the current value or position value are processed with an even higher cycle. The signals are evaluated by a FPGA. This enables a degree of speed and accuracy which is unknown in conventional servo-drives...
