Due to its manifold connections, the easy-to-handle HMI BTM 012 can be applied for many tasks. The user is provided with CAN interfaces and camera inputs, as well as with an Ethernet interface and a USB port. A MicroSD card slot allows data exchange or storage.

With the help of a digital potentiometer (digipot), the user can quickly and easily navigate around the respective applications. The night design allows operating the device at night.

Multifunctional

The HMI BTM 012 is a real all-rounder. It is not only a tool for operation, but also for controlling and for displaying videos, as the integrated control interpreter also allows it to be used as a controller for small to medium-scale applications. The four video inputs often make an additional video system redundant.


Easy Data Exchange

The HMI BTM 012 provides a great number of interfaces for various applications. There are two independently functioning CAN busses available for communication with remote peripherals. Having been specified to CAN 2.0B, the CAN busses can be set to baud rates between 125 kB/s and 1 MB/s. Further, each CAN bus has got two separate pins for CAN-IN and CAN-OUT. CANopen® and SAE J1939 are offered as standard protocols. The implemented MicroSD card slot or the integrated USB interface allow for quick and easy data exchange or data storage.


Designed for Night Use

The HMI BTM 012 is best designed for both day and night use due to the backlit keys and the light sensor, which automatically adapts the illumination of the display to the brightness of the surroundings. Optimum operation is also guaranteed by the ergonomically arranged keys, as well as by the possibility to make the function of each individual key visible on the display.
