The HMI JVM-407 has especially been designed for use in the harsh environment of commercial vehicles and mobile machines. It complies with the applicable safety requirements as to ambient temperatures, shock, vibration, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and tightness. Depending on the installation a degree of protection up to IP64 can be reached.


Great in Communication

The HMI JVM-407 provides a great number of interfaces for communication with peripheral devices. For instance, there are three independent CAN busses specified to CAN 2.0B standard. Baud rates can be set between 125 kB/s and 1 MB/s. Connection of an external 120 ohms terminating resistor is possible. Further, each CAN bus has got two separate pins for CAN-IN and CAN-OUT. CANopen® and SAE J1939 are offered as standard protocols.


Easy to Operate

Display and keys of JVM-407 are illuminated which facilitates operation during the night time. The brightness can be adjusted individually. A built-in acoustic signal generator produces alarm, indication or acknowledgement signals which make operation easier. Ten out of the 15 inputs are directly connected with LEDs, that is, the vehicle condition can be displayed even when the display is switched off (e.g. high beam, turn signal, malfunctions, etc.).
