Since 2006, futronic GmbH, one of the world's leading specialists in glass manufacturing, has belonged to the Jetter group.

It has been a well-proven concept of a strategic partnership between two general partners.

futronic develops customized control applications for hardware platforms of various manufacturers. The control specialist being located in Tettnang above all focuses on end-customer projects.

This means the core competencies are both the planning of demanding automation solutions and developing the concepts and applications.

In joint projects with Jetter AG, futronic is mainly involved as a systems provider as an engineering service provider. In such projects, futronic takes Jetter serial devices to teach them individual behavior. This means Jetter AG supplies the hardware components, futronic takes over ths systems engineering, develops the control applications, builds the electric cabinet and finally commissions the production plant.

In most cases, futronic has already been involved in the product offering phase. Within the framework of the so-called basic engineering, a draft of the plant, the control concept and the dimensions of the electric cabinet is created. After the placement of the order, futronic sets up a CSF pertaining to this system, and the requirement specifications.

After this, futronic puts together the hardware components and does the wiring diagrams. At the same time, the software engineers program the application and the visualization concept. Finally, the customized electric cabinet is built.
