Criteria in Favor of Jetter AG:

The company has been using Jetter control products for many years. One important reason is the simple meshing of the JetWeb control, process and drive systems. Customized developments and adaptations can therefore be implemented in a flexible manner. The freely configurable interfaces of the control systems permits comprehensive diagnostics and user-friendly visualization and data management functions. Complex drive functions can also be implemented with the Jetter system.

Technical Description of the Production Plant:

The plants developed by the customer include both classic PLC functions as well as complex drive functions and comprehensive control processes. The interaction of control, drive and process technology makes high demands on the control systems. These must integrate all functions into one interface-free system, as otherwise the programming and commissioning work would be increased to the extreme. In addition, the functions required for metering can only be implemented if smooth transitions are possible in the software between the control and drive functions and if these are processed with the same priority.
The control technicians have placed great emphasis on operation, data management and monitoring of the systems. With the aid of the SCADA-software JetLink the team has created a visualization which is unique in this sector. The plant operator can view all system sections and components in detail with the corresponding real time parameters and intervene at different points. He is also able to program sequences independently in a form which is comprehensible for process technicians. A user-friendly editor was created to this purpose. The application makes all data available for quality assurance. All process-related data can be read by means of an Ethernet link and TCP/IP protocol and managed in an external database.
